For she is our mother

I see white slowly turning yellow
Just to yell at David Attenborough through 3D glasses
I reach out, but can't touch the light

My choices are no different then yours
My mistakes are universal
My doubts are human
My accomplishments mediocre
Yet, I think I'm special

My heart beats the same beat
My earth spins the same way
My eyes catch the same colors
Yet, I think I'm special

Out there
She is our mother
For we all are her children

I asked her to show me
What's wrong inside my head
She took my hand
We danced all night

What's wrong inside my head
She took my hand
We danced all night
I asked her to show me

She took my hand
We danced all night
I asked her to show me
What's wrong inside my head

We danced all night
I asked her to show me
What's wrong inside my head
She took my hand

When I fell back to earth, nothing was the same
The song of birds more beautiful than I ever heard before
There were no more women nor men We are all creatures calling on one mother
Most of us will never realise the divine dimensions are only a wish away

Life never fails me
I fail life
I zoom in on the vibrating strings that created me
Things I can't see
I zoom out for a bird's eye view
That I can't fully grasp
The lines that I draw
Take me to places only the soul can reach
I leave my body in an empty room
And float on the chills running down my spine
Through my arms
My fingers
And clutch the walls
When I try to walk and fall

Stumbling over words
And falling face first into the bathroom door
Yet, I think I'm special
